1. Nature of Our Service. Therapy can only be effective if there is a strong and caring relationship between the client and the therapist. We recognize that for many people, it can be difficult to find a therapist who meets their needs. Psychologists, clinical professional counselors and clinical social workers can vary greatly in background, training, therapeutic approach and clinical interests. We provide consultation to help individuals clarify what they are seeking in a therapist, and provide suggestions for finding a therapist. Our consultation is not intended as, and our service does not provide, individual professional advice, diagnosis or treatment.
2. What You Should Know About Our Suggestions. Following our discussion, we may make recommendations for therapists whom you may wish to consider. We offer this guidance based on our professional networks only. We have no contractual relationship with the therapists we may recommend. We do not conduct an independent review of therapist education, credentials, licensure, inclusion in insurance plans or client reviews. As in selecting any treatment provider, you should review the therapist's background to make your own determination of whether the therapist could be appropriate for you. We do not guarantee that professionals we recommend will meet your needs and we are not responsible for the services provided by these independent providers.
3. Confidentiality. We will keep your information confidential and will not share it with any other party.
4. Payments. The cost is a one-time payment. Your payment information will be kept confidential and secure. There is no reimbursement for services should the referrals provide not work out for you. This service is not covered by insurance.
